Foundation's Grantmaking Passes $70 million Mark

July 15, 2021

The recent award of spring 2021 grants brings the foundation's total grantmaking since inception past the $70 million mark. In commenting on this milestone, Bill Graham, chair of the foundation's board of trustees said, "This level of funding demonstrates the significant commitment the foundation has made to addressing the health needs of the region. In so many areas - primary care, behavioral health, public health, children's services, support for older adults - the foundation has been an important funding partner in bringing needed services and supports to so many."

Foundation CEO Martin Cohen added, "Reaching this milestone has truly been a team effort - from our Investment Committee that raised the capital needed to make these grants, to the members of our Distribution Committee, Grant Panels and Scholarship Committee that review funding requests, our board and staff - they have all worked to make the foundation the community asset it is today."
