Based on the recommendations of the foundation's Grant Panels and Distribution Committee, the Board of Trustees approved more than $635,000 in grants to MetroWest health and human service organizations. Included in this round of funding are grants to support Girls' Mental Health, Health Equity, Health & Housing Stability, as well as Responsive and Innovative Action Grants addressing a variety of needs identified by community organizations.

Additionally, the Board of Trustees approved sixteen scholarships to MetroWest residents pursuing degree programs in medicine, nursing and the allied health professions. Recommendations of recipients were made to the Trustees by the foundation's Scholarship Committee. In the latest round of recipients, six students are pursing nursing careers at the LPN, BSN, RN, or DNP level. Four students are pursing psychology degrees (masters level or above), and two students are pursuing social work degrees (masters level or above). Scholarship recipients are also enrolled in dental hygiene, physical therapy, physician assistant, and emergency medicine programs. Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients!
