The foundation recently awarded $32,000 in scholarships to 16 MetroWest residents pursuing degrees in medicine, nursing and the allied health professions.
Eleven students are pursing nursing careers at the LPN, BSN or MSN level. Two students are pursing medical degrees, and three students are enrolled in programs focused on social work, mental health counseling and dental hygiene.
