To address the trauma and stress that many may be experiencing, the foundation has partnered with Wayside Trauma Intervention Services to provide a series of workshops for community organizations on COVID-19-related trauma and stress.
Wayside will be conducting virtual training workshops that will be customized for staff from front-line organizations, including child care and after school programs; food pantries; senior centers; schools; homeless and domestic violence shelters; and residential programs.
Workshops will include information on on signs and symptoms of trauma, effective coping strategies, and when to seek help from mental health practitioners.
For more information on these workshops, contact Rebecca Donham at (508) 879-7625 or via email.
