Kevin Lopez
Kevin joined the board in 2026. He serves as the Executive Director of Hoops & Homework, bringing more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, youth development, and community-based program design. He is deeply committed to creating equitable opportunities for young people and families. Throughout his career, he has led and expanded initiatives across comprehensive and career and technical education, workforce development, youth development, sports management, and community outreach. Kevin is highly engaged in the Framingham community, serving on MassHire Metro South/West’s Youth Connections Committee, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council’s Framingham Climate Action Committee, the City of Framingham’s Racial Equity Advancement & Collaborative Hub Team, Framingham’s Mayoral Community Center Advisory Committee, and as a board member of the MetroWest Nonprofit Network, Resiliency for Life, and Leadership MetroWest. Kevin’s leadership and impact have been recognized through several honors, including proudly receiving the Latino Excellence Award, for which he was nominated by Senate President Karen Spilka (Middlesex and Norfolk District), as well as being selected as an Amplify LatinX ALX100 Honoree (2024–2025). These recognitions reflect his commitment to equity, advocacy, and community-driven change.
